Hi again,

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas/help-

Myst from the myst collection edition wont work after saving-i have no clue what to do so any ideas would be appeciated :thumbsup:

Riven from the myst collection edition wont even start and i have had a look and tried a few times any ideas would be appreciated :trumpet:

Well I bought Myst back in the 90's when it first came out. I think you'll find that this version was made for Win3.1 therefore the saved filenames are only 8 characters.

I now use Win98SE and I have Myst, Riven and Myst III Excile and all these play and save on my system. A friend of mine has WinXP and he has the original Myst that I have. He complained he could save game and I told him the filename issue but I haven't seen him since.

I'm not sure if corrections have been made in the Myst Collection Edition.

The other thing is when you install it tell it to install C:\Myst that way it won't interfere with Program Files (long name folder). :thumbsup:
