I have a strange problem.
I currently have I-Tunes/Quicktime and I KNOW that there is an update available (I checked their website). However, when I go to check for updates, it always says your software is up to date. I have Quicktime 7.3 and it's now up to 7.4.
I've tried the "Apple Software Update" feature as well as checking within Quicktime and I-Tunes. I've also checked & double checked my firewall rules to allow all Apple programs access to the internet. No luck.
Even stranger, when I check for updates in I-tunes, it tells me an update is available and asks if I want to download it. I click Yes, and then nothing else happens.
I suppose I could uninstall Quicktime & I-tunes and re-install but I'd rather not due that. Any ideas?
I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium, fully patched to Jan. 2008.
