Hi guys, I recently got infected with Virtumonde. The reason i know this is the trojan that infected me is because every time i boot my computer i get a message saying...

"Your system could become unstable

A potential problem has been detected and Windows has been
shutdown buggy application to prevent damage to your computer.
****WXYZ.SYS - AddressF73120AE base at C00000, DateStamp
36b072A3
Kernel Debugger Using: COM2 (Port 0x28f, Baud rate 192000) "

I also have 2 new icons on my desktop. One is "Help and Support" the other is "Windows Update"

Anyways, I've tried to remove it using Ad-aware and Spybot. No luck what-so-ever. I've tried the Vundofix program. It didn't work either. I don't know what else to do. Somebody please help me. It would be appreciated. Here is my Hijack this Log

Hello kpxandy,

Before we start, you need to realize that you are missing one important program on that computer: An antivirus.

This is somewhat suicidal in today's digital world.

You need to install an antivirus program as soon as you can and run a complete scan of the computer.

I recommend you download the free

Avast or
AntiVir or
AVG antivirus

Products from all three vendors received the Virus Bulletin's VB100% award and certification for virus detection from ICSA Labs.

Never install more than one antivirus scanner or firewall on your system! Several together can give you problems and decrease the reliability of it seriously!

Post a fresh Hijackthis log and the antivirus program log.
