Hi all, i'm a little confused, I bought a pc recently with windows vista home premuim pre-installed and the switch between windows/ flip 3D worked fine. After few weeks decided to restore the pc back to it's factory settings via an acer utility which also came pre-installed, everything went smoothly except now I can't get the 3D flip to work, it's just the basic flip between pages, i've installed the latest direct x and done a driver check but no joy, I know it sounds petty but it would be nice to get it working as it was.
Any help/ advice will be much appreciated, thanks
Ant......

Hi, your aero is not turned on

You can turn on Aero Glass by doing the following - Right Click on the
Desktop and click Personalize. Click Visual Appearance ->Open Classic
Appearance Properties. Ensure that Windows Cista Aero is selected and click
OK. Now click the check box next to Enable Transparent Glass and click OK.
You should now have the Glass effect enabled.

.
You can look in help and support for more information.
  • click the start button
  • select help and support (bottom right)
  • type "aero" in the search pane.
