well my graphic card's physical memory dumped(GeForce FX5200) so im gonna buy a new one. currently im running the PC on AGV Mode.

my motherboard is
Motherboard Name MSI 865PE Neo2-PS (MS-6728 v2.0)
Bus Type Dual DDR SDRAM

old graphic card
Device Description
AGP 8x: MSI FX5200 (MS-8936)
Memory Size 128 MB
Bus Type DDR

so what i know is that i need AGP 8x, DDR
but i also want either nvidia or ATI with at least 256MB that's good to play online games and just average but good (should be around 100$-150$)

i have searched the net and i dont know which one is good or not
so i wanna have your thoughts, which one do u recomend(if u know any)?

Thanks

The GeForce 7600 should work nicely Here is a link to the GeForce cards. The 7900 would be a little faster but its above your price range.

My 5200 burned up after about a year, for such a lame card that was disappointing

I looked around and found the ati 9600xt for $100(2 years ago), it has run well, the smaller die used uses less power and creates less heat

GPU 37 C (99 F)
GPU Ambient 32 C (90 F)

the hell with hot cards

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
