My friend's pc is lagging horribly and it really shouldn't be. He has vista 32 bit, pentium D 3.6 dual core cpu, 4 gigs of ram and a nvidia 8800 gts 640 meg video card. What are we doing wrong?! We've done about everything we can. Every game we try lags horribly when it really shouldn't. it can't even handle demos

Does the PC run slow with normal use? or just when you play games? All drivers up to date?
