I've installed the software for the Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player but when I plug the device in, windows fails to install the hardware. In the program, the option for the "portable device" is greyed out - not available.

Each time I boot into Windows Vista from Linux, Windows always brings up the New hardware detected for unknown device... Even though there is no new device plugged in. Windows fails to install the hardware - and yes, I do have the disc !!

Any ideas?

Cheers
