Hey guys,

I left my computer running when i went to work last night, and when i came home i realize that my little brother had visited some pornography sites, sites such as bangbros.com, i will not list the rest but it sites affiliated to that main one. I looked through my history and it was full of online video streams from that site.

I am quite mad and will deal with him once I see him next.

I would like to know if it is possible to get virus's from sites like that where you stream these pornography videos through the sites, or would it only be spyware.

I keep my computer quite clean, run 2 times a day, virus and spyware. It was a few tracking cookies, but thats nothing harmful and was likely from me. I ran a virus scan and nothing came up either. I just want to make sure my pc is completely clean, i also ran a hijackthis log and i didn't see anything harmfull there.

So basically, I would like to know if its possible to get harmful virus's from streaming these pornography videos.
I heard and read somewhere that maybe these sites install stuff in the registry, but i doubt it.

I have not experienced anything weird since, i just want to make sure that my PC is running at its maximum potential with nothing that would slow it down because of this.

What would be some ways to ensure that everything on my computer is clean. I've ran online spyware scanners, my own spyware scanner aswell as NOD32 virus scanner.

Thank you in advance

suggest you post the log you created in this special section and get the log experts on here to give it a look over?

which tools have you so far run on it?

might be a lesson to NOT leave your computer on while unattended?

The primary means these sites can spread spyware or viruses is by forcing you to download a special viewer.
If your resident AV and AS applications do a thorough scan of your hard drive and find nothing, then you are probably safe for the moment.
Boys will be boys, but you should certainly make it perfectly clear that YOUR computer is not to be used in this manner.
Cheers,
John

After some google searches I think that Trojan.Zlob is affiliated in some way with BangBros.

Several sites also offer to let you download Zlob!

One is called rapidshareddl.
