Why are the files and folders listed in "My Files" and My "Documents" two different colors?
About one-half of them are blue and the rest of them are black.

This is not causing problems but I would like to know the reason for this. Thanks, oris

Hi and Welcome to Bleeping Computer Oris,

Here's a short version...

Blue files are compressed files. They got that way when you ran the disk cleanup utility and choose to compress old or rarely used files.
Have a look at Compression blues are cured with quick click.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
