Does This Sound Good For 1st Build

this will be my 1st build all i want is a basic coumpter, not a big gamer. im trying to stay under $550

my mother board is basic. Intel® Desktop Board D945GCNL

the memory i have i dont kno if it will work or not. Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200)

my Processor is Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 is that an ok processor

my hard drive is 160GB 7200 RPM (basic)

now for vista do i want 64 bit or 32 bit

help me and tell me if this sounds good or not

Could you please provide links, to the components you're interested in?

that motherboard has 4 sata connections and only 1 pata(ide)

don't waste that one with a hard drive, use a sata hard drive

for only a few dollars more thi is about the best and most ram that mobo will use

with a budget build and that mobo I would stay 32 bit, only takes 2 gigs of ram

a better mobo I would go 64 bit

I prefer windows xp myself, vista is a resource hog
