I am having a problem with my laptop I have installed a game called polar bowler. It was working find but I hadn't played it for a long time. I try to start the program and get this message "Polar Bowler" failed to initialize. I know the program works because I installed it on my desk top with out any problems. Both computers are running windows xp pro. Any help would be great. Thanks nurseyelaine

If you have the disc, the best thing would be to uninstall and reinstall.

To uninstall go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs. look for the program and uninstall.

If you don't have the disks, then you may be in trouble. If they limit your installations, you should be able to call them and tell them what the problem is. They should grant you another "key", if it's necessary.

Good luck.

Thank you DR
I have already un-installed and reinstalled the game using the disk. It still have the same error message. I think it must be a file I am missing on my computer. The game came from Wild Tangent's web site I can't even get them to respond. I have email several times. No response from the emails.
At least I have the disk and have installed it on the desk top computer with out any problems. Any other Ideas? Nurseyelaine

FWIW: I believe that Wild Tangent is known to be connected with various malware items.
