Hi BC

When I log off from my wife's account and try to log on to my account, I do not get the cursor. So I can not enter my password. So I must reboot. Then everything is OK. But boy, it is very annoying. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance. By the way, I have Window XP Home.

Hello,

If you wanted to switch accounts without the mouse you could use the arrow keys to navigate to your account. If this works, can you use the mouse in your account?
Regards,

Alan.

Often this is caused by a corrupted driver. Which one? Well, that's a matter of a bit of research and some guesswork. I'd first try your video drivers as they are tightly tied with Fast User Switching. Try updating those from the website of the manufacturer of your video card to see if it helps.
