I'm trying to follow the instructions as listed in
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/

I'm getting stuck at Spybot.

1. It keeps poping up windws listing that an important
registry entry has been changed, but I do not know
how to interpret or respond to the "accept" or "deny".

The an example of one of the messages:

Posted Image

I think it's asking if I want to accept the change to
a blank entry versus the old "command /c..." entry.

I'm guessing that accepting would be correct, but
am not sure.

2. I've run Spybot 5 times, and each time I'm getting
Virtumonde coming up, and sometimes smitfraud-C and
Omniture. The last time it ran only Virtumonde came
up. Do I just keep on running Spybot or do I move
onto the next step in the list?

Thanks
Joe

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
