 Hi there! I am new to this. I am able to visit some sites with no problems, but other sites I go to come up and then a pop-up "Internet Explorer has incountered a problem and must now close." appears. and poof, I am back at my desktop. Please help me figure out how to fix this. I have XP-home.

Does this consistently happen on the same pages? If so could kindly post a link to one such page so someone could attempt to duplicate the problem?
Thanks,
John

You might try using IE repair, which is found by going to add/delete programs, clicking on delete IE, and a "repair" option will show up. This may fix the missing items.
