OK Folks:
My build is complete and running. XFX 680i LT SLI mobo, Q6600 2.4GHZ G0 step, 4GB DDR2 RAM. I ran it for six hours using Prime 95 with no errors at 2.4GHZ factory setting. Decided to start to OC. Went slowly up to 3.024GHZ. No problem. When I started, I unlinked the RAM. But, I didn't touch the voltages. After I got to 3.024GHZ, I noticed that voltages were up (scared me). What I found is that my BIOS has system voltages on AUTO. So, I went back in and locked the voltages, went back to 2.4GHZ to start over. Got blue screen! Unplugged it and we're back at step one, voltages on AUTO and at 2.4GHZ. Are those increases safe? CPU was at 1.4v when it's normally at 1.216v. Any help here appreciated.TIA
