Ciao to all! Hope to learn more about computers here. I recently discovered that I'm not such a "dummy" after all. With the right amount of curiosity and information from reliable sources, I realized I can save my computer from an early death or crash. Feel free to drop me a line about anything, as well. I am here to make friends, too.

Hi sphygmo,

And Welcome to BC.

I am fairly new to BC and I am doing the same thing as you here- learning. As you have explained, I am also trying to delay my laptop's funeral!

There's a lot to learn from some great minds here. So, stick around!

Reading the various Tutorials and pinned topics in the forums and following the threads that interest you are all good ways to increase your computer knowledge. And, of course, posting a question or asking for help with a problem will allow our Members to help you.
Welcome to BC!
