I found a folder named C:\WINDOWS\WINDOWS and in it were 2 files, RSDLUpdater.exe and RSDLUpdater.sys. In C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup was a link to RSDLUpdater.exe.

Here's a link the VirusTotal's permalink's:

Scan Summary for RSDLUpdater.exe
Scan Summary for RSDLUpdater.sys

Im not sure what to do, but I definitely do not want this virus on my computer.

From my research, those files appear to be connected to the 4.1 version of RSD Lite which is related to some sort of motorola software. There appears to be disagreement about whether it is malware or not. The first question is: Do you have RSD Lite installed?

I do have RSD Lite installed, to upgrade my K1m. I'm SO relieved right now.

I too am finding a lot of conflicting information about these files. See this discussion at a forum dedicated to Motorola/RSD Lite v4.1.

Since this appears to be a Motorola product, you need to check with their support techs, report your findings and see what they have to say.

That won't be possible, as RSD Lite isn't exactly 'legal'.

In that case...illegal activity is a violation of our BC Discussion/Message Boards Rules

No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures. If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal the staff reserves the right to remove such content and/or ban the user.
