Hi Guys,
Happy New Year to All.
Well, New Year - new problems: last few days I am getting a lot of full screen add's popping up. I have run scanned my computer by SpyBot, Spyware Doctor, Ad Aware, NOD32, but could not stop it. Suddenly the ZoneAlarm asks me to "allow or block WAKESERVICE.EXE to connect to the Internet". As I found that this application is a bad one and has to be removed ASAP.
Could someone suggest a way to remove the WAKESERVICE.EXE from my computer completely

Thanks,
Boris.

I have Windows XP sp2 Home, NOD 32, ZoneAlarm Free, Spyware blaster & Windows Defender(firewall disabled).

Hi Boris  to BC forums!
Do you have DomPlayer installed? this is a potentially unwanted program with security risks.
Here's some more information on your problem:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/wakeservice.exe-21000.html
Do any of your Antivirus programs detect it? You could try Avast! Antivirus - Like NOD 32, but free version.

Also look here on more info: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/

Hope that helps!
