Ok, someone please help me with this... I can't get any windows updates at all... My automatic updates will start and say downloading updates 0% and then it will stop. So, I went to the microsoft update page and I got Error number: 0x80072EE7.

I went to http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=836941 and nothing helped. I did a google search and saw that somebody had a file here called Fixwareout, so I downloaded and it didn't work either.

I don't know what the freak to do.

I have Windows XP Home edition service pack 3

I presume this a bug in XP SP3 as it is still in beta stage. You should uninstall that and wait till it is a stable version before you use it on a important personal PC.

Don't forget to submit a bug report for SP3 - that'll get you invited for more testing (and you may get some personalized support with fixing it on your system).

I wonder... If you uninstall SP3 do you keep all your updates?
