Hi and welcome to Bleeping Computer
Are having browser redirects? Is the flashing a page telling you something?
What is your Operating system?
What Antivirus and antispyware tools are installed on this machine?
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Sounds like a browser hijack or some adware. You could get a program like Spybot Search & Destroy or Adaware SE Personal that deals with the smaller annoying viruses.

Using Ad-Aware SE to remove Spyware & Hijackers from Your Computer
Download Ad-Aware SE

Using Spybot - Search & Destroy to remove Spyware from Your Computer
Download Spybot - Search and Destroy

Hope that helps!
