Check out my log. I ran AD-Aware already. But somehow I lost IE6. on my add/remove programs it has 0.0 MB next to it. But somehow it still exists on my desk top. And my MSN explorer exists in my add/remove programs, but when I try to restore it, it can not find some files...

I can not get into a lot of sites with out the "page can not be displayed" coming up. I can not get into any secure sites or my hotmail. I can not download IE6, it keeps giving me an error.

please help!

Go into your add/remove programs and uninstall Windows Adtools.

Print out these instructions and then close all windows including Internet Explorer.

Then I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [satmat] C:\WINDOWS\satmat.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows AdTools] C:\Program Files\Windows AdTools\WinAdTools.exe
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe
O23 - Service: ZESOFT - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe (file missing)

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist)

C:\WINDOWS\satmat.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows AdTools
C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode and post a new log.
