Usb Wifi Access Point

ive been using my wifi max to create a new wifi access point around my house but recently it has stopped working i think i may have fried it. im looking for a device which plugs into a usb or pci slot and gives out a wifi access point. does anyone have any ideas? thanks, owfx

You might want to consider getting a regular Access Point. You could probably get a cheap one for 40 Bucks and do the same job. I would recommend a Linksys or a Netgear Access Point.

i do have one i use the usb one as some sort of a booster to boost to the signal to parts of the house which dont pick up the wifi

If its being used as a booster, it might not be able to be used as a internet connection....

my old one used to i used to use ics and it boosted that signal out
