I have a new Dell dimension desttop C521. In the beginning it worked just fine, but lately it takes forever to open programs, files etc. I downloaded Spybot but when I searched for updates it would not download them. Norton came installed with the Vista. I could not register for the ongoing protection (Itried). I went out and bought Norton, everything was fine until I could not download the updates.

Any suggestions?
