If I have a rar file I downloaded awhile back but it was password protected, is there any programs I can get for free that can unlock it for me?

Welcome to BC sko!

Well, there isnt really anyway that I know of to unlock a password protected Rar file. There are programs on the internet which say that can unlock Rar files, but I doubt they do what they really say. Also, if you know where you downlaoded the file from, maybe it says what the password is near the link etc.

EDIT: Actually, when I think about it I dont know if this topic is allowed because it involves cracking passwords.

Ok, well there is a big chance of getting malware/spyware from going through those offers and I dont recomend using a program that says it cracks passwords. You are going to just have to try and remember the password because I dont want to get involved in soemthign that is going to get me banned
