Hey everyone, Ive decided to just give up on these computers that I have received "if you can fix them there yours" Pfft, thanks for 4 computers with fried motherboards!

Whatever...

Any ways I don't know what is compatible with what.

So I was going to ask if some one would be kind enough to pick out what I would need.

Well its going to run Vista Ultimate (For DirectX 10) So that can rule out some choices.

Desktop... I'm not touching laptops no more! Ive had it with them! Their way too expensive to replace certain things for... *cough* monitor, motherboard *cough*

Well Im looking for a computer that can run up to these specs or close to it.

Case that supports liquid cooling
Liquid cooling system ;D

Specs:

Processor 3.0 or higher
Hard drives combined into or a hard drive with 1TB+
4GB of RAM
512MBx2 Video cards + (preferably nVidia)
Sound card ( I don't care as long as it works )
1000W + Power supply
A motherboard that can handle all this ;D

Others:
(Just need good prices for these)
Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
Razor Diamond back.
47"+ monitor
Mic+Headphone combo
Windows Vista Ultimate

And anything else that I missed.

Well from some of these items you might see that its going into building a gaming rig...

Also I don't expect any one to give me an exact build or anything but it would be appreciated, agian Id do this myself but with running Vista I have no clue what is and isn't compatible with it.

To those that do choose to help,

Thanks

newegg is messed up right now with back to school specials but 2- 500 gig hard drives would be cheaper, faster and a lot safer

Well at this time everything i'm doing is a shot in the dark.

T_T Any recommendations?

I'm going to stay with the 4x 2Gig

Oh I also forgot something with that video card, It said it was SLI enabled, Does that mean I can have two working in tandem?

Well Im kinda sketchy on that motherboard alone, It has 3 Sata ports and 1 HDD port... I looked into an old computer today and everything was hooked up to HDD ports....

I just don't want to waste money on something I can't use.

EDIT: I have changed the hard drives too two 750Gig drives...

Heres the link to the drive.

cas 4 ram is faster and 4 1 gig sticks is more than enough for most anything

if money is a concern why pick the most expensive quad core? You get little performance improvement for the last 500$ spent

that vid card is fine for single or sli use, gaming would probably benefit more from a second vid card than the fastest quad core

Thanks DaChew.

But I got a nice little surprize from Alienware this afternoon.
=)

I am going to be building another computer soon though. Im going to head out to a computer shop that builds/ repairs and will preform a free compatibility test.

But if you have any input on what items I should draw my attention too, I will take a look at them.

Thanks agian for the help =)
