Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and SO happy to have found it!

I'm running Win2K on a Dell Laptop, and have noticed recently that performance has REALLY dropped off. Bootup taking lots of time, and getting "Out of Memory" or Paging file size errors.

I've performed all the updates available, scanned for spyware and viruses, and de-fragged my HDD, but things are still super slow. Not sure if I might have a bug somewhere deeper, or just an organizational/resource allocation issue.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

hi a little info to help this along
How big is the hard drive
How much hard drive space is Free.
How much RAM is installed.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
