Im still doing research on the system im building and i was just wondering if 2900Pro is overall a good card. I know it uses more power and runs a little hotter.I was originally looking at an 8600Gt/Gts but its a 128bit. Im looking for a good card and $160 is probably the most i want to spend for now. Mainly going to play CS-source, Team Fortress 2, Quake wars. Anything else you recomend in this price range.

2900Pro $159.99

Awsome thanks. Anyone else have this card or have any feedback on it?

Seems to keep up with the 8800GTS according to review.

I know its a bit more, but why not go for a 3850? Like 10-20$ more maybe, but its definitely more then 10-20$ worth of performance increase. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....=Radeon+HD+3850

Sterling14 does have a point. OR you could get that card, and I will give you my X1900 Pro and 20 dollars and you could give that one to me . OK OK fine keep your damn card! It was worth a shot!
