Music Math Juke Box will not uninstall. An error message comes up, which is
not able to be copied and pasted here, but which has a number of things in it, which I will try to reproduce here (though I am a poor typist):

>setupDLL\setupDLL.cpp (509)
Musicmatch Jukebox
PVENDOR:Musicmatch (http://Musicmatch.com)
PGUID:85D3CC30-8859-481A-9654-FD9B74310BEF
$9.1.0.429
@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600)BT_OTHER 0.64

I don't know what this means.

Please help.

Hi soluod and welcome to BC

Do you feel up to trying this. It tells you how to post a screenshot. I'm sure a few people would be interested in seeing that error.

At any rate the simple solution would be to reinstall the application first and to try and remove it again after that.

Post back and let us know if that works.

I had the same issue. I tried to reinstall and then remove again but that did not work. Help!

Thanks!

From the Musicmatch webpage:

How to uninstall and reinstall Musicmatch Jukebox - Windows XP

To uninstall and reinstall Musicmatch Jukebox on a Windows XP system, please do the following:

- Click the "Start" button on the Windows taskbar.
- Click "Control Panel".
- Click "Add or Remove Programs".
- Select "Musicmatch Jukebox".
- Click the "Change/Remove" button.
- Select "Yes" if you are asked to verify that you want to remove any shared files.
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Navigate to the Musicmatch Jukebox directory (typically "C:\Program Files\MusicMatch\MusicMatch Jukebox").
- Select the files (but not the folders) in the Musicmatch Jukebox directory.
- Press "Delete" on your keyboard.
- Select "Yes" if you are asked to verify that you want to remove the selected files.

- Reinstall Musicmatch Jukebox. Please make sure you are installing the most current version of our program. You can find the most current version of Musicmatch Jukebox for download at our web site at http://www.musicmatch.com/download
- Reboot your PC.

Of course, you would skip the reinstall step if you didn't want it anymore.
