Possibly driver related. What are your 'specs'...Vista version, upgrade/clean install, new hardware/programs added, etc?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor
2 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 nForce 430 graphic card.

Type eventvwr.exe in the 'start search' box.... view the error logs. See if it's an incompatible program/application or driver(s) that might need to be updated.
