Hello Fellas,

I am just a regular guy that ocasionally builds computers as a hobby. I mainly use 2 seperate computers. One for internet browsing and one solely for music applications.

In the past, My only solution to most virus/malware issues was to backup data and re-install the OS. I'm sick and tired of doing so and want to learn from you experts on how to remove these infections properly. I hope I learn alot and If someday I can contribute, I'll be more than happy.

My handle is something that was given to me by some friends sometime ago and it just stuck to me.

To help keep yourself safe from malware, i strongly suggest following the instructions here.

If you ever do get infected, go the page here and follow all instructions that you haven't completed already. Also be patient as there are a limited number of helpers and lots of people to help. If you do not get a reply within 5 days, go here.

Hope this information helps you, enjoy your time here

Reinstalling a complete OS and all the additional software packages is certainly one way to get rid of malware, but certainly takes a very long time. There are often easier solutions, and you will find them here at BC.
