I have been attempting some video editing with Pinnacle and when I try to load the media to the timeline I get an error message "video card does not support HD" I have used other applications with the same raw footage and they have allowed the importation of media. However I do like some of the things this particular application does and thus would like to continue with it. I am considering upgrading the card itself if I have to or perhaps the drivers first and configuration -cheap.

Here is what I do know:

The card is a nvidia GeForce 6200 turbocache.

The manufacturers site says there were 2 levels made -3 to be exact a 16mb and 32mb.

Is there anyway to determine which card I have. Thanks

Well...if you're having problems with Pinnacle...why are you thinking of tampering with the card?

I see High-Def at the bottom of that blurb...

What version of Pinnacle software?

Well, appears to me that...HD support only extends to Studio Plus Titanium and Studio Media Suite.

Looks like a software upgrade is more in store than a hardware upgrade.
