Last week, I cleaned my computer under admin account knowing that whatever changes could have been made it would also reflect on another account this pc has. What seems to be confusing is that after I ran all the scans required, I switched to another user acct which is ltd account.I observed that firefox all temp files like the ones ATF cleaner cleans out were still kept there as if no cleaning has been do0ne.Also, when I made this second account, firefox settings dont look the same as that of admin in which yahoo toolbar is not available.Should I treat these two different account just as two different computers?Should I ran different sets of scan to each of these accounts? Is this misconception? Thanks

While I'm not familiar with ATF cleaner, I'd suppose that it wouldn't clean out temp files from accounts it didn't have permission to access. As for the changes in Firefox, each user profile has it's own firefox profile - so changes in the Administrator's Firefox profile won't be reflected in the other user profiles.

I would clean the other accounts also just to be sure - but I'm not a malware expert so I'd suggest that you ask on this forum: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/

The easiest way to put the Yahoo toolbar on is to use that profile and surf to the Yahoo site and download it there.

Here's a couple of links about Firefox profiles:
