Windows Automatic Update is asking me to install the above update but I have run into problems with it before. But anyway I tried again and my computer kind of froze and all of my desktop icons disappeared! I had to remove it. I googled KB942615 and it looks like many people have had problems with it although most talk about IE crash.

Any ideas...

I later stumbled across this link http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows-vista...sta-update.html, which says that it is for Windows Vista and I am running Windows Xp SP2. Can't the Automatic Update detect my Operating system?
