Command Prompt

I have looked at the command prompt tutorial on this site, But when I enter dir than press enter I get an error message, (windows cannot find this file make sure you typed It correctly). I followed directions, Any ideas? :thumbsup:

Go to Start>Run and type cmd and press Enter. Type dir and press Enter and it should come up

why won't my laptop work?
