Hello. I am having massive problems with my computer as of today. For starters, it is a sony VAIO operating XP. I have had McAfee Enterprise 7.0 installed for at least 3 years and it has worked ok. I have since changed jobs and wanted to switch from McAfee which I received free as an employee at my last job to Sophos which is supplied at my new employer. Everything was working fine until today when I decided to uninstall Mcafee. Once I restarted my computer, it did not even want to run. I had to try several times to get it to load anything, and when it finally did I successfully loaded the sophos software onto it. Since then it freezes up, and even now it takes around 10 minutes to get to the start screen and only works for about 5 minutes before shutting down without warning. It is extremely erratic. I tried to do a system restore to the point I was at yesterday to see if that would help, but I cannot remain on the computer long enough for it to even successfully work. Now when the computer finally logs on my background picture comes up and only a box that says "Windows Installer" with the only option to cancel. Please help for it is driving me crazy!

Thank you!
