download movies?

hopefully they are legal home movies

dvd flick is free and does a good job with most conversions, nero vision is also good, just update it to the latest and play around with till you get it, or download the help files from ahead.

convertx is probably the fastest most reliable, but a little inferior in quality to flick or vision

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
