I have run spyware programs for days with no luck with this nasty little pop -up(s).

pop -up(s) as follows:

" Messenger Service

Message from Local System to User on 12/26/2007 2:56:25 PM

CRITICAL ERROR MESSAGE! - REGISTRY DAMAGED AND CORRUPTED.

To FIX this problem:
Open Internet Explorer and type: www.registrycleanerxp.com
Once you load the web page, close this message window

After you install the cleaner program you will not receive any more reminders or pop-ups like this.

VISIT www.registrycleanerxp.com IMMEDIATELY!

ok"

or one like this:

"Messenger Service

Message from SYSTEM to ALERT on 12/26/2007

STOP! IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED

Windows has found CRITICAL SYSTEM ERRORS.

Download Registy Cleaner from cleaner64.com

FAILURE TO ACT NOW MAY LEAD TO DATA LOSS AND CORRUPTION!

ok"

I have used spybot , ad aware, geeksquads free scan a few others from here how in the world can I remove this bugger?

Thanks,
Cindy

If pop up advertisements are appearing on your computer in a window titled "Messenger Service", it indicates that your system is not secure. You should Disable the Messenger Service in XP to help protect your computer from unwanted spam and other potential threats. (Windows 2000/NT users see here.)
