I recently tried installing the Security Update for Windows XP 64-Bit Edition (KB823980) and i keep getting the error "xpsp1hfm.exe is not a valid win32 application"???? I know my pc has a 64 bit processor so i dont know what the problem is.....i cant find the "xpspihfm.exe" file so im assuming thats the problem but i dont know, can any1 help me?!?!?!?
i ran a scan, and it said "Your computer has a 64 bt processor, but your current windows version only uses 32 of the available 64 bits. You should consider upgrading to a 64 bit version of your operating system to benefit from imporved security and better system performance" I hope that answered your question.
