I'm trying to figure out if my video and sound card meet these requirments:
PC Video 128MB DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card
PC Sound CardDirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card
but I have no idea on how to go about doing this. Is there some way to do this? Thanks.

Go to Start...Run...and type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes) and press Enter. The Display and Sound tabs will give you information on your video and audio cards - then you can look up the specs at the manufacturer's website.

So it says under the Sound tab the Device ID is SoundMAX Digital Audio and the Manufacturer ID: 1. So I'm confused as to who the manufacturer is.
