Have you done any virus and spyware scans and did they come up clean?

I ll done a virus and spyware scan and it all came out clean. I have further narrowed down the problem. Seems like the problem occurs when i have windows live messenger running.

First thing I would try is to reinstall Messenger.

Have a look in the Event Viewer for any errors at the time your computer gets glitchy.

To open the Event Viewer go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer. Alternately, go to Start > Run and type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter.

Check in all the categories (Application, Security, System and Internet Explorer).

If you find an error that occurred at the time right-click on it and select properties. Copy the information in the window and post it back here. This will help us diagnose your problem.

Ok it seems like there is one common warning i see throughout the log under application.

Windows saved user YOUR-X4MZ0M55PD\Owner registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Also, after i exit a full screen program and try to execute another, i cant.(Cant even access event viewer through both 'run' and through control panel). This was the error i found when i clicked on a program after exit.

Faulting application daemon.exe, version 4.11.1.0, faulting module daemon.exe, version 4.11.1.0, fault address 0x00003afd.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
