Explorer.exe Help

I am having problems with my Vista Home Premium Laptop.
In Explorer, when I double click a folder it opens up in a new window. Also on Windows Task Manager there are 4 explorer.exe processes. As you see below:

Also, Internet Explorer won't work at all. When I click on Internet Explorer it opens and closes straight away!
Please help as I don't want to do a Full System Restore!
