What firewall do you have?
Do you have any Mcafffe products installed?
Do you Have CPDCLNT/CPD or CPD.exe running in the task Manager?

I have ZoneAlarm and the Windows Firewall.

I do not have Mcafee products installed though I believe the computer came with some; I uninstalled them.

No those processes aren't running.

Sorry, what led you to believe that MacAfee was the problem, a popup with their logo on it, perhaps? If their are remnants of an old firewall, you'll want to remove them as much as you can, as they will conflict with your current one.

Whatever firewall you have, it should allow a certain particular port to be open for the PC and the XBox to communicate.

I was running the program called Media Center Extender Manager that is supposed to connect the PC and the Xbox 360, and it was the one that said McAfee Personal Firewall Plus is blocking it from happening and that I need to change settings; but again, I do not have a McAfee Firewall. I have my router set up with those ports open along with ZoneAlarm (I think).

If you previously had McAffe products installed, then maybe it is conflicting with what you are tryign to do now?

You have ZA which? These are in conflict with Mcaffe
ZoneAlarm Firewall
ZoneAlarm Anti-virus 5.5
ZoneAlarm Zonealarm Anti-Spyware

You should try removing wtih this
remove Personal Firewall Plus from your computer

More Mcaffe Uninstallers

I have ZoneAlarm Firewall.

I spoke with 2 McAfee agents via chat.

They gave me 2 tools, one of which was posted here, and also had me delete it from the registry.

Its still there...
