Belkin Network Adapter

hello everyone im stuck!

a friend of mine used a belkin network adapter to connect it a wifi hot spot and was recieving wireless broadband.

he has lent me the adapter to connect with but my compaq notebook cant find the WLanCfgG.exe file when i instal the software.

i am running windows vista and hoping to connect to a broadband connection any advice or guidence would be great.
