We use HPs with most of our clients and are happy, most of the time. I don't think anyone is ever 100% satisfied. Sometimes the support is trying but I understand Dell is no different there.
As I have seen over the years, Dell is always trying to put the latest items and technology into their units. Sometimes that can backfire and sometimes it can be great. There is anothing worse than an unstable system.
We find that HP, on the other hand, tends to install existing high-end technology and parts into their systems; usually items that have been tested throughly.
I hope I am not disrespecting the Dells (I have a spare at home myself) as maybe they would not agree with what I am saying but that is my own opinion.
