Hey pj. It looks like we have a few items to clean up here. Please print these directions off for your reference as we proceed. Proceed with these steps in order:

Step # 1

Download LSP-Fix from the following link and save it to a location you can find later if necessary.LSP-Fix Download Link
Download AdAware SE from here:AdAware SE Personal
Follow these directions to configure AdAware SE and update it but do not run a scan yet:AdAware Tutorial
Download CWShredder.exe from here (do not run it yet, we'll get to it in a later step):Cwshredder.exe
Step # 2

Open the Control Panel:* Click Start
* Control Panel
* Add/Remove Programs
* Look for the following and remove them:New.Net
Wild Tangent
[/list]If you can't find New.Net, then please go here and follow the removal instructions in Procedure 4 at the bottom of the page.

Step # 3

Start CWShredder and click on the Fix button and let it run.

Step # 4

Start AdAware SE and click the Start button. Click the Perform full system scan option and click the Next button. When the scan is complete right-click on the page of items found and choose Select All Objects. Click the Next button and then the Ok button to finish.

Step # 5

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://ie.redirect.hp.com/svs/rdr?TYPE=3&t...ario&pf=desktop

I'm not really sure about this item. I couldn't find alot of information on BoltZap. If you installed it and are sure that it is ok then leave it, otherwise select it:O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [boltzap] C:\Program Files\bolt\boltzap\BoltZap.exe
Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Step # 6

We need to make sure all hidden files are showing so please:* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.
Find the following files/directories and delete them (don't worry if they are already gone):C:\WINDOWS\System32\spm1316.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wer1316.dll
C:\WINDOWS\wt\ <--directory
C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\ <--directory
C:\Program Files\WildTangent\ <--directory
C:\Program Files\bolt\ <--directory (if you removed it above)

Next, let's clean up the temporary directories:* Click Start
* Point to Programs
* Point to Accessories
* Point to System Tools
* Click Disk Cleanup
* Select all items shown and click the OK button.
OK. Reboot your computer normally, start HijackThis and perform a new scan. Post your new log file back here as a relpy to this topic and I will review it.

If you can not connect to the Internet after removing New.net, please run the LSP-Fix program I had you download earlier, and click on the finish button. Reboot and you should be able to get back on.
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.
