 I thought I was the only one with 'puter probs! I am an amateur photographer (Nikon, Mamiya) and a professional golf Instructor. I have an HP 7260us laptop from which I constantly endeavour to download spyware. Until I joined this forum I had no idea how prevalent this mischief was on the net. Gives good cause for the reinstitution of beheadings (or something less severe-how about just a time out for twenty years). Just thought I would take a minute or two to introduce myself and offer sympathies to fellow XP sp2 users. I used to own a MAC and had no problems with it, internet wise. Sooooo!.....howdy!
A great golf swing and chili, onions and garlic all have one thing in common: they're repeatable!

While everyone (almost) uses a computer, not all people have the time or inclination to spend a lot of time learning about it; while everyone (almost) has a camera, not everyone has the time or inclination to learn about it (if I can't point and click, I am out of luck).
Areas of expertise and interest differ. Here at BC the community of users help one another by sharing our private knowledge and asking for help with problems we cannot solve on our own.
I am happy to hear BC was of help to you.

Well, now, that's an interesting past-time.
I've considered doing the same.

I'd suggest staying tuned to BC for updates on just exactly what to do with
the motley crew your laptop will no doubt accumulate in time.

If I had a little leisure time left after the online
search & discovery routine I typically
spend hours at, then I'd probably
be apt to look you up so I
could improve my
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...
