Hi

It seems that my computer is infected with what seems like smitfraud but i have tried many recommended ways to remove it but non have helped. It seems to just return. Also when running Smitfraudfix in safe mode, the icons disappear and the notification that asks if I want to run system restore continuously pops up.

Here is my HJT log:

My PC is running great now, my desktop background has been restored to its previous self, I can access task manager now, and it lets me run in safe mode without a problem. Everything seems good so far.

The only thing is that I could not find O23 - Service: Windows Hosts Plugin - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolcv.exe (file missing) in the hijack this list.
