XP Automatic Login

On starting the computer (XP) how does one bypass the Windows login screen an go straight to the main screen.

I am the only user of the system and it bugs me that I have to click on my user

Hi Chharriet, :thumbsup: to BC.

You can bypass it by downloading the TweakUI powertoy from M$. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx

Install it and go to Logon --> Autologon and then put a check mark in the log on automatically at system startup box and set the user account. Then say goodbye to clicking on your account when you start your computer. :flowers:
