Hello, I recently had a malware problem with Virtumonde. It was constantly being detected by AntiVir, but couldn't be removed by it - even in safe mode or by running AntiVir on restart (surprisingly AntiVir didn't load at all). I'm sure you're all familiar with what it does, and how it messes with all of your settings and gives you the obligatory "YOU SYSTEM COULD BE INFECTED!" messages.

Anyway, I think I removed most of it, but I still hear a lot of clicks as if pages are being blocked by Spybot. Every now and then I will hear 5-10 seconds of a commercial and then it will stop, but no programs will be open. It's very, very weird. (Example: I was hearing the audio from a Conair commercial)

So, what I'm requesting is for one of the kind experts here to take a look at my HJT and ComboFix logs to see if everything is okay. Ideally, if there is anything else that shouldn't be on my computer, please notify me of those as well.

I hope this is adequate, I read up on the stickied threads for what I needed to do - if any other information is required I'd be glad to provide it.

Thank you.

I've waited for a few days now and I see that threads that were created after mine are being honored. First come/first serve?

I know this is bumping my thread, but you guys wouldn't see it otherwise. My thread was literally on the 5th page by the next day.

Hi and welcome to Bleeping Computer! My name is Sam and I will be helping you.
I apologize for the delay getting to your log, the helpers here are very busy.

If you still need help, please post a fresh Hijackthis log, in this thread, so I can help you with your malware problems.
If you have resolved this issue please let us know.

Failing to respond back to the person that is giving up their own time to help you not only is insensitive and disrespectful, but it guarantees that you will never receive help from me again. Please thank your helpers and there will always be help here when you need it!

Hello and welcome to BC.

I apologize for the very long delay. We have a huge backlog of HijackThis Logs to handle and it has been taking us greater time than normal to get caught up. If you are still having a problem, and want us to analyze your information, please post a brand new hijackthis log. If we do not hear back from you within a couple of days we will need to close your topic.

Thank you for your patience.
