Alright, this is going to be my first time building a computer. I've spent a lot of hours picking out the parts and I just want to make sure everything is right and to see if you guys have any recommendations.

Parts list:

My budget is $600-$850, but I would prefer under $750.

I already have a monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse.

I will be using this as a moderate gaming/workstation PC. I will also hook the computer up to a 37" LCD Widescreen HDTV.

Is there anything wrong with the combination of parts I have selected or do you have any suggestions for parts that I should get instead of the ones I have selected?

Thanks in advance.

I would bump that power supply up to 450 or 500 watts. You never know what you might want to do in the future.

You should also read up on using 800 FSB memory as your board is set for 1066. I thought I read somewhere that because of the multiplier, it is better to use 533 memory than 800. Correct me though, if I am wrong. I would just get 1066 memory (PC2 8500) as I see it is not that much more.

The rest of it I do not know enough about. Not being a gamer, I don't know the best video cards.

Good luck and have fun!

Looks good man i doing almost the same setup. I already have the centurion 5 case and i got that ASUS Burner so good picks. Im also going to be going with that board and processor setup. I would definatly go with a power supply that has 3 12 volt rails. I just got this cooler master power supply. Its pushing 650 continuous watts.

What type of gaming will you be using it for. (Will it be games that require a high end graphics card) if so, mabye see if you can go for a 512Mb graphics because it wont be long before the games being released soon will require a high end graphics chip. Also, with the parts that you will be buying, I dont think it will be at that price, I woudl say it will be at around $1100+ but I could bne wrong.
